Explore the historic center of Medellín and listen to local musicians and traditional Guasca music while visiting Parque Berrío. From the center of Medellín walk to the famous Plaza Botero with an exhibition of the Colombian artist Fernando Botero. His sculptures are now an emblem of the city. With the metrocable go up to the commune of Santo Domingo, one of the areas most affected by violence and paramilitarism in Medellín. The metrocable was built to make the center accessible to people living on the outskirts of Medellín. That allows visitors a glimpse into the lives of the marginalized population. Enjoying this spectacular view, learn more about the transformation of Medellín. Back to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, departure from the hotel to carry out the route, it passes through towns such as Marinilla where we find colonial buildings and a fervent religious tradition, through Nuevo Peñol, a municipality that replaced the old Peñol that was flooded to build the Peñol – Guatapé reservoir at the end of the 1970s. We will get to know the Piedra del Peñol, a 220-meter-high rock and finally we will visit the municipality of Guatapé, where the houses stand out for their plinths and facades from the 20th century, as well as the reservoir boardwalk. At the end of the day we return to your hotel – The ascent to the Piedra del Peñol (659 steps) is optional, it is not included.

Arrival in Cali known as the “sky branch”, reception and transfer with all biosafety protocols established from the airport, transfer to the chosen hotel in Cali.

Breakfast at the hotel. The City Tour begins with a visit to the most emblematic places in the city, a walk along Paseo Bolívar, Puente Ortíz, La Ermita church, Caycedo square, Bulevar del Río and La Merced Church (place where Cali was founded). We continue to the colonial neighborhood of San Antonio, where the second oldest church in Cali (1747) is located, we continue to Gato del Río, the Novias del Gato park, the word Cali and Cristo Rey where passengers can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city.
We end the tour in a craft store where we will have a delicious snack typical of the region. Back to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. We start the tour in the Jairo Varela square where there is a monument made up of 4 trumpets that form the word Niche, below them you will find written the songs of the group that you can read and dance while listening to them.
We continue to the Carlos Molina Salsa Museum, one of the oldest in the world where you will find thousands of photos of artists who have visited the city and scores of iconic songs that tell the story of what Salsa has been and represented for the Cali culture and identity.
Among the scores, the songs stand out: “mis desengaños” by Roberto Roena and “llorarás” by Oscar de León. We will end the tour in the traditional Obrero neighborhood where the statue of Piper Pimienta Diaz, author of the song “Las Calieñas son como las flores” is located. Back to the hotel.
